Jewellery
Specially created, exclusively for Elleni’s Workshop,
these necklaces set highly polished gemstones
in richly grained olive wood mounts.
Not only do they make beautiful and ornamental pieces of jewellery
suitable for any mood or occasion:
the bringing together of the symbolic life-affirming force of the olive
with the reputed therapeutic power of the gemstone
makes each one a powerful talisman for the believing wearer.
The necklaces are individually hand-made by our own craftsman,
using olive wood cut from local trees
and personally selected by him for its grain and texture.
Cut into delicate slices, the wood is thoroughly seasoned, finished to
a satin smoothness, sealed and polished before receiving its stone,
which is carefully selected and positioned to complement
the shape and grain of the mount.
The finished pendant is then hung on a fine black leather cord.
This combination of natural materials and individual craftsmanship
makes each necklace unique and impossible to duplicate
